Greetings Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Adam Waterhouse to the Our World Dream Team! :)
He will be our new Communications Director and so will be dealing with all issues relating to communication, networking, social media, PR, marketing, etc So expect future posts to be coming from him as well as me, with more contributors coming soon... :)
Some of these duties will be further delegated as we continue to expand and grow...
This is great news since this takes some of the pressure off me so I can focus more on what I do best.... the technical details of Our World. This will accelerate the development of the prototype and the MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
Adam is currently living with me so we can both focus and work on Our World full-time to help take it to the next level... All great things start small, most of the big success stories start like this with the founders living and working in someones apartment or garage before they hit critical mass and things really take off! Well we will soon be following in their footsteps... and much sooner than you think! ;-)
My best friend Stephen Watts is due to be here any moment to help work on the prototype with me and has now kindly given up a day a week from his job to dedicate to Our World. He is my apprentice and I am currently training him up and I am pleased to say he is doing very well and has already fixed a number of bugs. He is also highly creative and is an excellent sounding board for all my ideas for Our World, we make an excellent team!
Adam has also been doing a great job and is helping to refine the Business Plan and put together a processional presentation which we will be showing to potential investors, partners and other people we wish to work or share our vision with.
He will also be updating the website and will act as our Copy Editor making improvements to all our existing materials both online and offline.
Adam has a lot of great ideas (as can be seen by the lightbulb above his head! ;-) ) to help improve our pitch and Our World, he also has extensive networks and knows people at the top of big partners we will be working with such as S7 Foundation & Holochain.
So things are going amazing and are really moving now, we have more and more people joining the team all the time. We have other recent new members too, which we will share more on later...
I decided to make this post more personal and to come from me as the Founder & Managing Director of NextGen Software & Our World to give us a more human and personal touch, to show our grassroots and to help people more relate to us, because we are for the people and do not want to portray a corporate image.
